In the early hours of July 25, 1982, a lone gunman embarked on a killing spree that would terrorize the city of Miami, Florida, and leave an indelible mark on American history. The gunman, dubbed "The Executioner" by the media, would claim the lives of five people in a matter of hours, leaving behind a trail of blood and terror.

The Executioner's first victim was a 27-year-old woman who was shot and killed in her home. The gunman then went on to kill a 22-year-old man at a convenience store, a 32-year-old man at a gas station, and a 56-year-old man at a hardware store. The Executioner's final victim was a 25-year-old woman who was shot and killed in her car.
